Recount Text 'My Experience During This Pandemic'

Three months ago, this pandemic period was very disturbing to all kinds of communities. No money in circulation. This virus was founded by humans in Wuhan, China. Whole aspects of economic, industry, tourism, and tradition were deteriorated. Even processed food from the garden is eaten by people. The people felt confused. Several programs were released by the government in Indonesia during this pandemic. These programs were created for the communities to minimize the spread of the coronavirus such as Studying From Home, Working From Home, and Praying From Home. These programs must be obeyed by the communities. Primer foods were provided by the government. For students, the learning process activities are carried out through processes in the network (online system). Of course, whole students must manage their time as well as possible.

I have a bad and a good experience during this pandemic. All of the students in the world, including Indonesia, have implemented a learning system online since March 2020. Students in the college are able to use mobile phones and laptops in the learning process. Sometimes, I feel overwhelmed because I used a lot of network-quotas. However, some universities have provided network-quota to their students. Even though it's a little, but it's very useful. I have to be grateful for their free network-quotas.

I woke up at 7 o’clock then I washed my face. After that, I cooked with my mother. Then, I prayed for God for our Ancestor. Afterward, I went to take a bath and went straight to do an online course if I had a morning schedule. During the course, my lecture gave us the material and we did it via Google Classroom, Schoology, E-learning Undiksha. Sometimes, I feel confused because the lecture gives the task non-stop. The money crisis has occurred, we have to buy network-quota but no money in circulation. I thought this is a hustling system because we must buy data credit. But now I am grateful because besides I have Wi-Fi, the university gives a network-quotas to all students. Although, it’s a bit but it is very useful. Normally, I never take a nap.

Last month, I got sick. I had scarlet fever. I was there a week. I felt nervous because I saw the spikes. I was in Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar. There are a lot of patients who get coronavirus. When I first came, the room was full. I had to wait about three hours to get a room to retreat me. Suddenly, I got a room economic class. In one room there are five other patients who got sick, I was so boring in there. I wanted to go home as soon as possible, but the doctor didn’t give me to go home. Because I was so serious illness. I got bleeding. The doctor said that I got scarlet fever grade II. My blood thrombosis was very low and my blood presser was very low as well. That's why I had to wait till I get better. Before I went home, the doctor said that I should come to the hospital to check up again one week after. But, I didn’t want to come to check it up out. I was happy that I could back home. I felt freedom. When I got home, I have done my homework. Although, my head felt a headache.

After I got better, I cleaned my house. For me the house is everything. All the activities we can do at home. The house must be clean. Because when the house looks clean and green due to all kinds of illness never comes. So I like to clean my house. I cleaned the drains with my father to reviews the mosquito. I cleaned the glass window. I swept the floor and mopped it. For cleaning the house we have to use the broom, moper, grass scissors, sickle, mirror rag, scoop, glass cleaner and so on. I like to clean the mirror so that it looks better than before. When the mirror was clean, underwise I like mirroring my self. I washed the clothes then ironed the clothes. It’s because when the clothes clean it looks so tidy.

I felt bored with learning from home. Thus, many students divide their time by selling online, including me. Many kinds of donuts, risolles, bananas cheese were sold by me via online. Customers are able to buy online as well. We transitioned by Cash on Delivery (COD). Students in the college must divide their time as much as possible. For example, I made a list of their order in the afternoon, and they might give time limits until at night. So, after I have done from studying online, I took orders from customers. Afterward, delivered it to certain areas.

 In addition, instead of studying from home, I did some exercises such as cooking and selling to the customers, income from food sales also exists. The income will be used by me to buy network-quotas to support the learning process. The students, need to divide their time as well because “Time is Money”. It’s not wrong to develop a hobby by selling food and spending free time with useful things.
